Because this technology is line of site, the radio that will be installed will be pointed to one of the many cell sites owned by BTS. We will come to your home and perform a site survey to verify connectivity at the time of installation
Site Survey
A BTS technician will install a radio on the outside of your home pointing to one of the cell sites, they will run a Cat 5E network cable to your PC or router. This is a plug and play connection.
BTS retains ownership of all radio equipment.
Installation
The equipment pictured above is what will be used during the installation. BTS retains ownership of equipment and will warranty said equipment. Warranty does not cover damage caused by mother nature or neneglience.
Radio Equipment
Your PC must have a network card installed (please reference the picture above). If you do not have a network card BTS can install one for you at an additional charge. BTS does not warranty the network card.
